Alternative Worship Options

We realise that you may wish to worship in alternative manners to our Sunday morning Zoom sessions, to fit either your style of worship or access to technology, or even if you’d just like to see some different faces for a change.

York Methodist Circuit

The District were offering a traditional service this Sunday. The circuit service is also available each week, at the same time as our Zoom, so if you would like to watch it live, or afterwards, then click subscribe and you will be sent a link each week. Feel free to join us, after our Zoom, for coffee. If you’d like to watch both, I will try and post them on this email each week.

More Contemporary Worship

If you’re after a more contemporary Sunday morning service, you may find our sister church at Copmanthorpe more appropriate for you. This is from the 9th May as they use the circuit service on 3rd Sundays.

ONE Family Worship

Our new monthly circuit family worship took place again in May. For those who missed it, you can find it here…

The Methodist Church in Great Britain

As additional alternatives, the Methodist Church centrally is directing people towards live-streamed services from Wesley’s Chapel in London and also to service sheets.

The live-streamed services can be found on YouTube. Services take place every Wednesday and Thursday at 12:45, and every Sunday at 09:45 and 11:00 (except the first Sunday of the month), and the last Sunday of every month at 19:00, and will be adapted for no physical congregation.

Alternatively, the service sheets are available on the Methodist Church’s website. These contain short acts of worship that you can do from home.

There is also a helpful document online detailing information of services being broadcast on TV and radio.
